Remember The sign of trigonometric ratios is determined the quadrant in which the allied angle lies. For that we have to remember A ll S ilver T ea C ups It means that in 1 st quadrant all TR are positive. In 2 nd quadrant only sin and hence cosine are positive. In 3 rd quadrant tan and cot are positive. In 4 th quadrant cos and sec are positive. All other TRs are negative. In this we have seen how the difficult formulas can easily be remembered.
