tricks to remember trigonometric ratios of quadrantal angles

Hello friends, I am Anil Kore welcome to my blog mathstips4u.

In this post I am going to tell you some tricks to remember trigonometric ratios of quadrantal angles.
Quadrantal angles are

trigonometric ratios of quadrantal angles
There is a separate video on quadrantal angles.
let us have a quick look on quadrantal angles.
If the terminal arm lies on positive X-axis then the measure of the angle is 0 degree.
If the terminal arm lies on positive Y-axis then the measure of the angle is 90 degree  .
If the terminal arm lies on negative X-axis then the measure of the angle is 180 degree.
If the terminal arm lies on negative Y-axis then the measure of the angle is 270 degree  .
If the terminal arm takes a complete rotation lies on positive X-axis then the measure of the angle is 360 degree.
We shall see the graph of sin θ and cos θ.
Now we shall see how to remember trigonometric ratios of quadrantal angles.

We have to remember sin 0 degree  .= 0 then 0 is alternate between  1 and -1  and for tan  ,  0 and N.D. is alternate. Where ND is not defined.
In this way we have seen how to remember trigonometric ratios of quadrantal angles
In my next post we will learn how to remember allied angles formulas.
